There are several student organizations geared for students in the Department of Consumer Science. The organizations offer a variety of activities including professional development and community service.

On Wednesday, April 19th the Purdue Retail Organization will be sponsoring a PopUp Shop with Civvie's at the PMU between Starbucks and Freshii from 8 a.m. - 11 a.m.
On Thursday, April 20th members of the Purdue Retail Organization will be participating in a Visual Merchandising Workshop with Juniper, 340 E State St, West Lafayette, IN. The members will learn about Juniper’s approach to store layouts and mannequin styling that draw in purchases and then members will have a chance to participate in a styling competition! Time to be determined.
