  • If you miss your Time-Ticket window, you will not be able to enter your schedule into MyPurdue until April 25th
  • Review your WORKSHEET on your MyPurdue Plan to ensure all degree requirements are being met.
  • HINT, Your PIN# stores in MyPurdue! Once you’ve USED your PIN#, it is stored in MyPurdue under “Registration Pin” in the Academic Tab – you don’t need to ask your advisor for it again if you need to make a schedule change!

Fall 2016 Course Notes & Updates!

  • FALL ONLY COURSES (not offered in spring) include:  CSR 100, 22200, 35500, 40600, 42100; AGEC 42500

  • INTERNSHIP SYLLABUS MEETINGS:  If you are completing your required internship/work experience during the FALL 2016 semester (or think you MIGHT be) you will need to add the course number for your internship and attend the one time fall Syllabus Meeting.  When you add the “course” you are adding syllabus meeting and the academic credit to your schedule.  NOTE: you do not have to have your job or internship secured at the time of the meeting!
  • ONLINE COURSES are listed in the Schedule of Classes as “Distance Learning”.  HINT ~ to search for these, select ALL of the subjects at once using the shift key (or just the subject you’re interested in) and choose “Distance Learning” under the Schedule Type and hit ENTER.  All online options will come up in alpha-order.  These courses are taught by Purdue professors.
  • Courses listed in the Schedule of Classes as “TLF” instead of “PWL” campus are NOT available to us.  They appear in the schedule like this:
  • STUDY ABROAD STUDENTS:  Students who are completing FALL 2016 Study Abroad programs will register for an “SA” course number on their spring schedule.  An override in the myPurdue system will be required and distributed by the SA office.  Finalizing the registration steps will be done during each student's one-on-one advising session with your CSR academic advisor.  Students must come prepared to advising appts by researching the courses they will take at the host institution!  Bring this list of desired courses to your advising meeting. Access the host institutions’ Schedule of Classes or work with the Study Abroad office to find your options.  Select two times as many courses as you expect to take.  Be sure to schedule for at LEAST 40 minutes.

  • MyPurdue WORKSHEET and myPurduePlan:
    • Required:  Use the WORKSHEET in myPurduePlan to verify your degree requirements!   Bring any discrepancies or questions to your advisors attention. This is very important; it is the tool used to audit you for graduation.
    • Map your 8 semester Plan by using the “PLAN” tab in MyPurduePlan.
    • Show a ‘what-if’ scenario to assist you with CODO decisions
    • Calculate the GPA needed to achieve a specific goal
