CSR graduate students participate in Cummins environmental leadership seminar

On November 21, 2013, the Consumer Sciences Graduate Student Organization (CSR GSO) participated in a campus forum on environmental leadership sponsored by Cummins, Inc. at Purdue University. The forum featured a business case for environmental sustainability, a case study, and a discussion on community responsibility. Forum speakers from Cumminís, Inc. included John Malina, GM High-Horsepower China; Laurie Counsel, Energy and Environmental Relations Director; and Anna Weimer, Certification Specialist for Off-Road.
The forum was a collaboration between CSR GSO, AIMS (Association of Industrial Management Students) and ENTR (Entrepreneurship Certificate Program) at Purdue University. A private workshop for CSR graduate students to exchange views/insights of sustainable consumption research and its impact on environmental sustainability and business development was also held during the forum.
