Yang Xie

Yang Xie is a PhD student in the Department of Consumer Science at Purdue University. My research areas are high frequency trading, market microstructure, informed trading and mathematical modeling. Before joining in Purdue, I have the applied mathematics bachelor degree and statistical master degree in China, I also earned my mathematical master degree in USA. I also have one and a half year working experience as a modeler in a consulting company at Chicago after I earned my master degree in USA. I am an associate actuary of CAA (China Association of Actuaries) and associate actuary candidate of SOA (Society of Actuaries).
