General interests lie in social psychological aspects of consumer behavior. I have conducted research on clothing consumer issues pertaining to self-concept, self-images, and clothing involvement. I am interested in the international retail environment; also, the direct and indirect forms related to how the consumers' micro and macro cultures shape their responses. Most recent work focuses on consumer responses to express self-images online through body images: online consumer reviews and social media. Also, my ongoing research topic is how non-verbal behavior has an impact on emotional status and behavior intention.
