Lan Jin is a PhD student in the Department of Consumer Science at Purdue University. She received her B.A. degree in Advertising from Hainan University in 2008. From 2008 to 2011 she worked as an advertising planner for a national transportation corporation in China. In 2014, she earned her M.S. degree in Consumer Science from Purdue University.Her research currently focuses on consumer behavior and health communication, especially intercultural communication and mental health of immigrants. She also has interests in examining the issue of health disparities.
