Change of Degree Objective (CODO)

Process for Students Interested in Health and Human Sciences (HHS) Majors
This includes students who want to CODO into an HHS major, add a second major or degree, and HHS students who want to switch to another HHS major.

Please follow the steps listed below.

NOTE: YOU MUST ATTEND AN HHS CODO INFORMATION MEETING BEFORE BEING ELIGIBLE TO CODO, TO UTILIZE WALK-IN HOURS OR TO MEET WITH AN HHS COLLEGE OR UNIT ADVISOR.

Step 1:	Explore ALL pertinent information on the HHS CODO webpage including links to information on HHS unit pages. See Information Chart below General information related to majors Basic information about major including possible career paths Requirements to earn degree Degree Requirement Sheet FAQ page for CODO students General Information about CODO Requirements and Processes Requirements and policies that apply to all HHS majors (click here to view) Major specific requirements and processes
Step 2:	Download Degree Requirements Sheet(s) for HHS major(s) that interests you and enter your grades for the classes you have completed. Also check the classes you are currently taking. To find the degree requirements sheet for the major you are interested in, click on the major under Degree Requirements under Information Chart below. You can also reach the Degree Requirements by clicking on Plans of Study at the top right of this page.
Step 3:	Bring your completed HHS Degree Requirements Sheet(s) for HHS major(s) to your CODO meeting that you may schedule in Step 4 below. These meetings will be conducted by advisors from the following units: Group 1: Human Development and Family Studies Group 2: Psychology Group 3: Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences Group 4: Health and Kinesiology, Health Sciences, Nursing, Nutrition Science Group 5: Consumer Sciences and Retailing Group 6: Hospitality and Tourism Management Content of meetings: General Presentation that covers three elements Units and majors offered Possible careers and majors that are associated with these careers Why students select various majors Unit Presentation Advisor will provide unit-specific information and answer questions submitted by students
