“I will miss the friendships and memories that each Boilermaker creates on their journey towards graduation. Every day in college flies by and we must cherish each moment as if it is our last.” |
Chandler BrostYear: Senior What is your favorite thing about Purdue?
“My favorite thing about Purdue is that, although difficult, the coursework here prepares students far better than most colleges. Because Purdue expects more from its students, it's students can contribute more to the world.” |

“I think I'll miss the student body the most. Everyone here is so dedicated, inspiring, and full of spirit! I have yet come across a place like Purdue anywhere else.” |
Tori BrownYear: Freshman What advice would you give to incoming Boilermakers?
“I would tell incoming Boilermakers to participate in BGR because it is a very good opportunity to meet new people and learn how to navigate campus! I think I would have been lost if I had not done it! I still hang out with my BGR group all the time.” |
Kirsten ClawsonYear: Senior How do you prioritize your time?
“My whole life is contained in my Mortar Board (planner). With so many things going on in college, if I do not write something down, it will not get accomplished. I would highly suggest that everyone get in the habit early of utilizing your Mortar Board. :)” |
Taylor CrawfordYear: Freshman What is your dream job?
“My dream job is to be a Pediatrician and do medical missions work in underprivileged countries providing health care for the children.” |
Danielle DrakeYear: Senior Why did you choose to join HHS Student Council?
“HHS Student Council was one of the first call-outs I attended as a freshman here at Purdue and I loved everything that it stood for. It was a way to get my foot in the door as a new student, and joining was one of the best decisions I have made as a boilermaker.” |
Emily FullerYear: Junior What advice would you give to incoming Boilermakers?
“Get involved! I have learned so much from all the wonderful people I have met by getting involved in different organizations and clubs throughout Purdue's campus. It is awesome to meet people that share the same interests and overall goals as you do as a student!” |
Jessica GrandlienardYear: Senior What is your dream job?
“My dream job is to work with adolescents who have eating disorders. I want to be able to plan their diets as well as provide encouragement and counseling as they recover. My desire is to instill within them a sense of hope and be able to see them overcome their struggles.” |
Erin HardenYear: Sophomore What is your dream job?
“I would love to be a stay at home mom with perhaps a part-time job in the dietetics field or with some nutrition counseling from my home?? There are so many options!!!” |
Matthew HarterYear: Sophomore How do you prioritize your time?
“I have to use a combination of the calendar on my computer along with my mortar board to devise schedules of when to work on different projects ahead of time so I then have time allotted to study for exams which seem to come on a weekly basis. It also makes sure I keep up with extracurricular events I need to participate in or organize. With out my mortar board and laptop, I would be lost at school.” |

“Study early, study often.” |
Michael HowkYear: Sophomore What is your dream job?

Carmen HuffmanYear: Senior What will you miss about Purdue?
“After graduation, I think I'll miss the community of Purdue the most. I've met so many amazing people, created so many friendships, and made so many memories. I'll miss living in Purdue's "bubble" and constantly being surrounded by other Boilermakers. Purdue has become a second home to me and I'm so thankful for the opportunities I've been given from being a part of such an awesome university. My Boilermaker pride runs deep, so even after I am graduated, I'll always feel like I am a part of the Purdue community!” |

“I encourage incoming boilermakers to find at least two really good study environments. At least one of the places should be somewhere other than Hicks or another high traffic library so that you still have a place to study when the libraries are full.” |

“I will miss so much about Purdue, it's become my home.
