Debra joined HHS Development and Alumni Relations in July 2010. She held the same position in the former College of Consumer and Family Sciences from January 1994 through June 2010. In 1991, she was hired as a secretary for the first Purdue University capital campaign, Vision 21. Before coming to Purdue, she worked as a customer service representative and as a bond secretary. During her years at Purdue, Debra has enjoyed working with wonderful people and meeting many inspirational HHS alumni and friends. She is pleased both her husband and son are Purdue graduates.
A native of Lexington, Kentucky, she moved to Delphi, Indiana in 1979 with her husband. Her family eventually settled in West Lafayette, where they now reside. In her spare time, she takes pleasure in reading, cooking, and bargain shopping. Debra and her husband especially enjoy spending time with their two energetic grandchildren.
