IMPACT LIFE February 1-5

During the first week of February, Purdue's wellness community is implementing a new model of intervention to improve the health of local and global communities. Healthy Planet 2010 will integrate programs in learning, teaching, research, engagement, and outreach to raise awareness of the benefits of prevention and a balanced life.

The weeklong celebration of health will highlight many of Purdue's resources and the research that is making impact locally and far from home. Programming will focus on health education, physical activity, nutrition, financial management, and mental health.

And here's where you come in. We want everyone to get involved. So, what can you do to impact your life?

Healthy Planet 2010 will offer the Purdue community a variety of events designed to pique your interest and get you moving! From a swing dance extravaganza for all ages to a symposium exploring public policy, and from nationally known guest speakers to fitness opportunities, there's a lot going on.
