Student Intern Shares A Golden Moment

Allison Hemingway, a sophomore from Munster, Indiana majoring in Film and Video Studies, is an intern this fall at Hall of Music Productions.  As part of her internship she is a video producer working on special video projects for the Vice Provost for Student Life.  Her first assignment was to conduct an interview with Purdue's first female Olympic gold medalist, Amanda Elmore.  Amanda earned gold in Rio de Janeiro this past August as a member of the Women's Eight rowing team.  Besides graduating from Purdue, Amanda got her start in rowing as a member of Purdue Crew.  Since Purdue Crew is associated with Division of Recreation and Wellness, which in turn is a part of Student Life, Allison's is using the interview as part of a human interest video she is creating to highlight Recreation and Wellness.  The video crew Allison assembled to help her with the interview were also Film and Video Studies students.
