We are pleased with your interest in our graduate program. Before you continue with the electronic application for admission, we wish to ensure that you are familiar with the minimum requirements and deadlines for admission to graduate degree study in Business Graduate Program.  It is important to recognize that although satisfaction of these basic requirements does not guarantee graduate admission, failure to satisfy these requirements may lead to automatic denial of admission.

Supporting Documents: Additional documents are required to support the application. Supporting documents should be uploaded to the online application or mailed directly to the graduate program to which you are applying, as directed below. Click the links below for details. Completing the Application:

  • Candidates are required to have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a Graduation index of 3.0 (B) on a 4.0 scale and meet the program’s mathematics requirement.
  • Students need to demonstrate a basic level of familiarity with mathematics prior to being admitted. Students who lack this background may be admitted to the program with the understanding that they will take an appropriate course. Prospective students should contact the Program Advisor to determine if their academic background is sufficient to meet the Mathematics requirement.
  • As you begin the application process, please contact Purdue North Central’s MBA Advisor. We would like to talk to you about the program, the admissions requirements, and give you all the assistance you need in going through the application process.

Program Basic Requirements

  • Undergraduate Cumulative Grade Point Average:
    3.0 or equivalent required
  • Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) scores - The GMAT exam is waived for individuals who have earned at least a 3.5 G.P.A. from a U.S. accredited college or university.
  • Students need to demonstrate a basic level of familiarity with mathematics prior to being admitted. Students who lack this background may be admitted to the program with the understanding that they will take an appropriate course. Prospective students should contact the MBA Advisor to determine if their academic background is sufficient to meet the Mathematics requirement.

International Applicant Requirements: 

  • Undergraduate Cumulative Grade Point Average:
    3.0 or equivalent required
  • Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) scores - The GMAT exam is waived for individuals who have earned at least a 3.5 G.P.A. from a U.S. accredited college or university.

  • TOEFL for Non-Native English Speakers:
    Minimum Paper-Based Test (PBT) Score Required: 550
    Minimum Internet-Based Test (IBT) Overall Score Required: 77
    With the following minimum section requirements:
    Reading: 19
    Listening: 14
    Speaking: 18
    Writing: 18
  • IELTS (Academic Module):
    An alternative to the TOEFL, scores of 6.5 or higher will be accepted
  • Pearson Test of English (PTE) (Academic Module):
    An alternative to the TOEFL, scores of 58 or higher will be accepted
