Laboratory Registration

This event is designed to highlight career opportunities and research at national laboratories and federally funded research and development centers across the United States.

Additionally, this event may help your lab to:

    • Build relationships with our faculty and students
    • Recruit and hire our talented graduates students, postdocs, and undergraduate Students
    • Present your current lab’s projects
    • Connect with Purdue faculty

Opportunities for participation:

    • Employer Information Sessions (Monday, November 7) – presentations on the research and career opportunities at your organization as well as an opportunity for graduate students and postdocs to network with your organization.
    • Professional Development Workshops (Monday, November 7) – present on a topic such as communication, leadership, negotiation, persuasion and influence, or coaching and mentoring others. Other topics are welcome. This is an opportunity for our graduate students and postdocs to learn from experienced professionals!
    • Tech Talks (Monday, November 7) – tech talks will give you an opportunity to discuss research projects being conducted in your lab. This session will allow our students to learn more about opportunities within your lab beyond the employer information session.

    • Career Fair (Tuesday, November 8) – network with Purdue graduate students and postdocs about opportunities in your organization and their skills, qualifications, and research.

Registration is $500 with an Early-Bird Rate of $400 until Friday, October 07.  Registration closes on Monday, October 31.  This fee includes:

    • Registration for two representatives
    • One 3' x 6' table at the NL@P Career Fair
    • 150 word description posted to the attending institution Web page
    • Admission for additional representative for an extra fee of $25
    • Electricity and wireless internet connection (if requested during the registration process)
    • Opportunity to submit a workshop proposal
    • Lunch for two representative
    • Parking permit
