Ross University | School of Medicine

Founded in 1978, Ross University School of Medicine offers a MD degree program administered by a faculty whose primary responsibility is teaching. The Basic Sciences curriculum is delivered at our high tech campus in Dominica. This organ systems-based curriculum is designed to enable students to acquire and master basic sciences concepts and prepare to integrate knowledge of these concepts into clinical care. Clinical rotations are completed at affiliated US teaching hospitals. Ross has an alumni network of over 13,000 MD’s across the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. 658 former and current Ross graduates attained residencies across 15 disciplines of medicine in 2017. Ross is eligible to participate in the US Federal Direct Loan Program and offers scholarships for students who qualify. Temple University is one of the largest universities in the United States and one of its most diverse. Located in Philadelphia, the fifth-largest U.S. city, our comprehensive public research university enrolls over 39,000, including 10,000 graduate and professional students. At the graduate level, Temple University currently offers 134 master’s and 53 doctoral degrees, several with various areas of concentration; 10 professional science master’s degrees; a post-master’s education specialist degree; and 100 certificate programs. Funding for graduate studies at Temple University is available in the form of fellowships, including Presidential, University, and Future Faculty; assistantships, both teaching and research; academic internships; and graduate externships. All sources provide a stipend and tuition, with the exception of externships, which offer only a stipend. Established in 1981, The Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy is the only graduate and professional school of nutrition in North America. MS in Business Analytics:  Rady’s MSBA program is an intensive 12-month program that provides rigorous, hands-on training to prepare students to use data and analytics to identify business opportunities, generate business insights, and create business solutions.  Students will use predictive analytics and optimization for data-driven decision making in marketing, finance, management, and operations; collect, clean, visualize, and analyze data; and use statistical and optimization tools such as R and Radiant.   The program concludes with a hands-on applied analytics capstone project with industry partners.

Master of Finance: Rady’s MFin program is an intensive 12-month program that prepares graduates to tackle significant challenges facing the financial sector. In this rigorous, hands-on program students learn cutting-edge methods for analyzing big data for financial decision making and risk management.  The program emphasizes training in quantitative areas such as financial econometrics and forecasting, portfolio analysis (investments), and risk management, drawing upon empirical data-driven methods. The program concludes with a hands-on applied financial data or risk management capstone project.

MSM students learn fundamental business skills in marketing, finance, accounting, and management, and engage in one-on-one career coaching.
