Graduate School Fair
You can expect to meet highly talented potential graduate students from across the nation, as well as Purdue, that are interested in Engineering, Mathematics, Science, Technology, or related fields. The average attendee's GPA has consistently been greater than 3.6/4.0. In addition, the majority of attendees possess research experience.
In 2013, students from 39 different states and 91 institutions attended the event. Review a complete list of past participating students' home institutions. Students from a variety of institutions and organizations are invited to attend the Grad Expo, including McNair Scholars, LSAMP program participants, honors students, summer research program participants, and many more.
The morning fair will be held in the North and South Ballrooms of our beautiful Purdue Memorial Union, followed by lunch in the food court on the lower level of the Union.
Again this year, we will host a "Speed Networking" event after the Graduate School Fair. This is a professional development opportunity for students and is not necessarily a recruitment event; the students you talk to may or may not be interested in your program. If you are willing to talk with students to help them practice their networking skills, please indicate that option on the registration form.
Due to space constraints, it has become necessary to limit the 2014 Grad Expo to an "invitation only" event for recruiters, with priority consideration given to the Big Ten universities, as well as Purdue's strategic peers. If you do not receive an invitation, we encourage you to contact us and we will notify you if space becomes available. You are also welcome to participate in our advertising opportunities.
NEW this year - in order to better serve our student attendees, a limited number of booths in a designated area will be reserved for representatives from professional degree programs (MBA, MD, JD) with links to STEM disciplines.
