Why did you choose LSAMP?

It was a great way to earn money while continuing to do research.

What was the best thing about the program?

Aside from the funding opportunities, the best part about the program was the community of minorities in STEM.

What did you gain from the program?

Through the activities and meetings that the program held, I was able to grow professionally. From learning about scholarship opportunities, effective networking skills and even future jobs, LSAMP has taught me many things that my classes did not.

What is your advice to other students considering LSAMP?

I would highly recommend LSAMP. You have nothing to lose by joining it, but definitely a lot to gain.
