The Graduate School Advance to a Higher Degree

Admission Application Fee Waiver for Individuals Denied Admission and Reapplying for Admission to a Graduate Program at a Different Purdue University Campus

Due to the large number of highly qualified applicants, some students are not recommended for admission to a particular program in the Purdue University Graduate School. If you remain interested in earning a Purdue graduate degree, we encourage you to explore your options for graduate study at another Purdue University campus. You may apply for admission at a different campus in the Purdue system without an additional application fee. Please note that some departments/programs may not participate in this program. Purdue University has campuses and offers graduate degrees at Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Northwest (Hammond and Westville), in addition to the main campus located at West Lafayette, Indiana.

The admission application fee waiver is good for one admission application submitted within two academic years of the date on the letter you received denying admission to the Purdue Graduate School.  To request a waiver of your application fee, please email gradinfo@purdue.edu and in the subject line indicate Regional Campus Fee Waiver Request.  Please include your name, email, and your application reference number.

The following graduate programs participate in this admission application fee waiver program. Individuals denied to any graduate program, with the exception of English, Biochemistry, and Industrial Engineering on the Purdue West Lafayette campus, may apply for admission at no cost to any one of these programs as long as the program is offered at a different Purdue campus than the graduate program of which the individual applied to and was denied admission.
