Giving to Global Affairs
The Office of Global Affairs is the key point of contact for Purdue University's global partnerships with institutions of higher education, governmental and non-governmental agencies, global businesses and corporations, students, parents and alumni. Our Office of International Programs, Global Policy Research Institute, academic Colleges, research and educational Centers, and many other programs and initiatives at Purdue University are working together in meeting global challenges.
Areas of Support
Student Experiential Learning and Growth Opportunities:
In an increasingly global world, international exposure and understanding is important for graduates entering the work force. You can help provide our students with international experience as they earn credits toward graduation.
It is important to promote global understanding and cooperation as students from various countries integrate and communicate on Purdue’s campus. You can help facilitate experiences that increase understanding of American and multi-national culture and people.
Important decisions are being made that affect people across the world. You can help provide undergraduate and graduate students from all colleges with experiential learning opportunities related to policy.
Global Partnerships and Policy Research:
The Global Policy Research Institute connects scholars and researchers with policy-makers. The Global Connections Lecture Series and Seminar in Global Policy Issues course inform students, scholars, and interested citizens of policy issues that address key global challenges.
Unrestricted funds allow Global Affairs leadership the latitude to address current needs and pursue new opportunities that otherwise would go untapped.
