The Dynamic Duo of Betsy Wiersma, and Chris Chopyak will activate your passion, purpose, and Purdue impact through artistic visioning. Designed to facilitate networking with fellow participants, this session will weave the spirit of giving throughout the weekend activities. Every voice will be represented in a special way by illustrator Chris Chopyak.

Author Angie Klink recently introduced her latest book, “The Deans Bible: Five Purdue Women and Their Quest for Equality.” Purdue has no lack of significant women leaders and many learned from these special women, including Dean Emerita Betty Nelson. Join Angie and Betty in a relaxed environment in the First Street Towers as you enjoy a behind the scenes look at this book and the women who inspired it.

A Taste of Zumba: Take a Fitness Journey Around the World

Instructor: Learn to Play Fitness Instructor, Julie Hendon, ’01 MGMT

In this highly interactive session, you will learn a medley of Latin and International dance steps, made simple and fun - Zumba Fitness style!. The intention of the class is to move and have fun, even if you don't perform each move perfectly. Please dress in athletic-type clothing, ready for activity. Loose fitting, comfortable clothing that allows for a wide range of movement is best. Wear a supportive athletic shoe that allows for smooth, frictionless movement such as a cross-trainer or any shoe that does not have a lot of tread at the bottom. A towel and water bottle is also recommended.

Escape your daily routine, restore your mind and revitalize your body.
