Our Strategic Plan includes many programs to enhance the educational opportunities at Purdue and provide students with real life experiences, including entrepreneurial opportunities and the chance to help move research into society where it can impact lives and economies – discovery with delivery. We are preparing learners to work in a dynamic, global society.
Examples of programs you can support include:
- The Global Policy Research Institute, which will bring together faculty experts, students, policymakers, and the media to address public issues of national and global importance
- Expansion of internships and co-op programs, which help our graduates land jobs with world-class companies. Many internships are directly through colleges and schools. Others such as theDiscovery Park Internship Program are campus-wide.
- The Purdue University Center for Cancer Research brings together the best minds from within Purdue University and beyond to study cancers where they start – inside the cell. Using the combined expertise of scientists from disciplines as varied as engineering and veterinary medicine, biology and chemistry, the Cancer Research Center discovers how cancers develop, progress and respond to treatment. Our work leads to the advancement of new medicines, diagnostic tools and treatment devices.
