How to Join PFSB

If you are a student leader with a passion for creating networks between students and alumni, a strong appreciation for Purdue, and a desire to participate in philanthropic activities with friends, then this is the organization for you!

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to represent the University in a professional manner
• Extensive knowledge about Purdue and the ability to offer a unique perspective on University life to alumni
• Creative and enthusiastic, with excellent public relations skills
• Ability to communicate with alumni of all ages
• Willingness to spend adequate time with the PFSB
• Confidence to converse with strangers
• Maturity to handle stressful situations

Training and Commitment

• Year-long commitment (May-May)
• Attend all PFSB committee meetings
• Attend at least five Purdue-related special events per semester on campus and throughout the region
• Be on time to all events
• Participate in etiquette and training seminars for members
• Dress appropriately for all events
