Getting to work with generous donors to the University was an honor as a student. At President’s Council events, alumni were always interested in learning about what we were doing as students. Regardless of how successful people were in their careers, it was a reminder that we all started out in the same place — hard working, determined college kids, with a love for Purdue.
So much of the experience a student has at Purdue is due to the generosity of alumni.
Knowing that I am not near West Lafayette and do not have a lot of opportunities to get back on campus, giving is a way for me to stay connected and provide these experiences for other students.
I look forward to expanding my giving to other areas of campus that influenced my life. I hope to have the opportunity to serve on advisory boards in the College of Agriculture. I will continue to cheer on the Boilers at sporting events and wear my black and gold proudly!
