Maggie donated $50 to the
Department of Mechanical
Engineering with a $50 matching gift
from her employer.
For four years I played on the women’s water polo team. I was also involved with the Women in Engineering Program and Society of Women Engineers. I learned that it’s important to make time and volunteer for activities that make a difference.
Traveling to Guatemala with Engineers Without Borders in 2008 to build a pedestrian bridge was an exceptionally rewarding experience that I attribute to my engineering degree. I’m proud of my experience at Purdue and I hope that future graduates share that feeling.
I want to donate to different causes on campus, such as scholarship funds, research, or intramural sports. I like the idea of supporting a specific cause, and I really value having a well-balanced experience at school.
