Life a Boiler Up!

Lend a Hand. Lift a Boiler Up!

We are Boilermakers. Strong. Determined. Resilient. And we look out for each other in a time of need. That time of need is now for too many of our future Boilermakers. They face the prospects of deferring their dream or dropping out of Purdue all together because of a family or financial crisis.

The Lift a Boiler Up program gives you a chance to lend a helping hand to a student through a special emergency fund. Your gift of $25, $50, $100 or more will have an immediate impact on students by helping to cover their educational costs.

Because the world can use more Boilermakers.

About the Fund

The Lift a Boiler Up fund, formerly called the University Economic Assistance Grant, was created in December 2008. The first assistance was awarded in the 2009-2010 academic year. It has since been renamed "Lift a Boiler Up fund", as that is exactly what it is intended to do.

In the 2010 - 2011 academic year, $221,869 was awarded to 161 students, allowing them to stay in college.
