Our time at Purdue was more than books and classrooms. It was the experience of being on our own for the first time and the beginning of life-long friendships. Our campus experience and social interactions became as much a part of our lives as the formal education we received.
One of the great traditions that touched many of us during our Purdue years was spending time at The Sweet Shop. That is why we created the Class of 1955 Sweet Shop Endowment. Our lead gift of $100,000 to establish this endowment will help insure that The Sweet Shop is around for many more generations of the Purdue family to enjoy.
A plaque was placed in the shop to recognize our class gift on the occasion of our 50th anniversary.
