In conjunction with the Digital Concentrate exhibit, Art
& Design faculty members Elizabeth Menon and Petronio
Bendito are curating an installation by this unique Brazilian
conceptual artist.
Gonper's work addresses issues such as the breaking down
of boundaries between the viewer and the artwork, questioning
boundaries between media, the inclusion of language, and semiotic
structures.
The artist will come to Purdue to create the installation
and to work with student in the Department of Visual and Performing
Arts.
All Purdue Galleries exhibitions and events are free
and open to the public.
