Creature Feature
Robert L. Ringel Gallery, Purdue Memorial Union
August 30 through October 10, 2004

Images of creatures and beasts from the permanent collection are presented, along with special "creatures" from the departments of Entomology and Forestry. Continuing our practice of interactive exhibits, there is room for visitors to add their own beasts to the display. Art materials are provided in the gallery for imaginative artists of all ages to draw from both literary inspiration and the artworks on display.

Related Events:

  • Wednesday, September 15, 12:00-12:45pm
Join us in the Ringel Gallery for a brown bag lecture by Purdue's own "Bug Guy," Tom Turpin.

  • Sunday, October 3, 2:00-4:00pm
Everyone is invited to the closing reception in the Ringel Gallery to celebrate all the artworks created for the exhibition.

All Purdue Galleries exhibitions and events are free and open to the public.
