College of Engineering Campus Visit Programs

To help you Learn, Live and Love your visit to Purdue University, the Office of Admissions and the Office of Future Engineers are dedicated to providing the best visit opportunities possible through a variety of on-campus visits throughout the year. There is a visit experience to fit almost everyone's needs. When it comes to scheduling your exceptional campus visit we recommend the following:

  • Full-day Events. The Office of Admissions sponsors several full-day events on campus throughout the year. Each of these events includes an opportunity to hear from the College of Engineering. For more information, please check out the Admitted Student Events or the Prospective Student Events on the Admissions' Web site.

  • Create Your Own Visit. If the full-days don't work with your schedule, are already full, or if you are looking for something a bit more unique, then here is a customizable suggestion:

Recommended Parking for Visit Programs

From March 2016 through May 2017 road construction will affect a key intersection east of campus, River Road and State Street. To avoid this intersection, follow the driving directions on this site rather than using online mapping services. During warm-weather months, road construction is common on and around campus, not just at this intersection. Plan your trip accordingly and allow time for unexpected delays.

Recommended parking locations for visit events vary based on the event. Those who register for a visit through the Office of Admissions or the Office of Future Engineers should refer to their visit confirmation email for event-specific driving and parking directions.

  • For most full-day visit programs on weekdays, guests park at the North Stadium Parking Lot and ride a shuttle bus to the event check-in location.
  • For most full-day visit programs on Saturdays, guests park at the Grant Street Garage and walk to the event check-in location. (Saturday with the Boilermakers is an exception -  those who arrive early enough for this football Saturday program can park in the Northwestern Avenue Garage.)
  • For Daily Visits (2-3 hour programs on weekdays and weekends), guests park at the Grant Street Garage and walk to the visit check-in location
