Purdue Advanced Credit Examinations

Students can earn advanced credit on the basis of achievement on Purdue departmental proficiency examinations. Purdue's Advanced Credit Examinations are given during the Summer Transition, Advising, and Registration (STAR) program and just before classes begin.

If you qualify, you'll receive a mailing containing a description of the subject matter to be covered in each exam, test dates and locations, procedures to follow in applying to take the tests, and general instructions. Questions about advanced credit should be directed to the Purdue college/school you're interested in, or to your high school counselor.
