Juliana Lindner
Juliana Lindner , a senior majoring in management and professional flight technology from Hanover Park, Ill.
Her goal: To work in aviation finance.
Sky-high dreams: She was inspired at the age of 14 to pursue aviation after taking a free plane ride during a summer vacation in Wisconsin. From then on, she knew a typical desk job wasn't for her, and she started flight lessons soon after she got home.
In the clouds and on the ground: With three years in the all-women's Air Race Classic (last year as captain) and serving as a flight instructor at Purdue, Juliana also finds time to play alto sax in the Purdue All-American Marching Band.
An aviation pioneer: Juliana is the only member of her family who is a pilot. "My brothers are afraid of heights."
