Mission Statement

The Fire Protection & Special Services Department assists in providing an educational, research, & service atmosphere which is free of fire & life safety hazards. The department's staff promotes this objective through a conscientious and efficient application of fire & life safety technology to the activities and environment of the University.

The Department strives to promote the mission objectives of other University organizations. The Department accepts its role in facilitating these objectives while ensuring that all activities do not present an unreasonable exposure to life, property, and the image of the University.
