The Boiler Challenge Program offers student groups,
learning communities, staff groups, and others a very
unique learning experience. This unique learning environment
allows groups to bond and appreciate each other’s
differences while enhancing skills in leadership, decision
making, problem solving, and communication. It consists
of two thrilling experiences:
The Class of 1979 High Team Challenge Course
This course was dedicated in 2005 and represents the
next generation of challenge courses. The course is
composed of three levels with two separate exhilarating
challenges on each level, two cargo net entry points,
and a culminating zip line experience. To register,

L. Tony Hawkins Boiler Challenge Course
This unique programming opportunity takes your group
on an educational adventure. The 10-element, low-team
outdoor course is open for use by academic classes/departments,
offices, other campus units, student groups, and
the general community. Led by trained facilitators,
your group will learn valuable leadership, problem-solving,
and communication skills — all of which can
be transferred back into your work or school setting.
