ODOS, Student Activities and
Organizations
Purdue students have the opportunity to participate
in cocurricular activities that supplement formal studies.
These activities range in category from service to athletics,
from religious to hobby.
The Student Government at Purdue is comprised of the
legislative, executive, and judicial branches.
The legislative branch, Student Senate, is made up
of senators elected to represent the students of various
constituencies.
The executive branch, made up of the president of
the student body and his or her cabinet, provides services
for the student body.
The Student Court has jurisdiction over the constitutionality
of senate acts and appeals of campus traffic and parking
violations. Student Court also serves as an appellate

framework of the Student Government.
