Office of International Students and Scholars

The staff of the Office of International Students and Scholars (ISS), located in Schleman Hall, Room 136, advises international students and visiting international staff and faculty on all matters relating to Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, and Department of State regulations. General advising and counseling on personal matters is also provided. Applications of international undergraduate students are reviewed, and admission decisions are made by the staff. Credit evaluations of undergraduate foreign transcripts are also handled by ISS. Orientation programs for new international students, faculty, and staff are organized, as are engagement activities for students in public schools and various organizations throughout Lafayette and West Lafayette.
