| The
University Advancement Office was established in 2000
to provide direction and coordination for Purdue’s
private fund-raising, marketing, and communications.
The senior vice president for advancement has managerial
responsibility for the University Development Office,
the Office of University Relations, and the University’s
two radio stations, WBAA–AM and WBAA–FM.
He also serves as the primary liaison to the Purdue
Alumni Association. The Advancement area coordinates
the seven-year, $1.5 billion campaign — The Campaign
for Purdue. The Campaign for Purdue started July 1,
2000, and ends on June 30, 2007.
