The men and women of Purdue University’s Fire
Department serve the campus with fire, emergency medical,
and hazardous materials response service. The University
Fire Department is housed in the DeMent Fire Station
on W. Third Street, west of the Recreational Sports
Center.
The fire department is responsible for fire prevention
and response, aircraft rescue fire fighting, hazardous
materials response, and emergency medical services
including transport to area hospitals. CPR and other
classes are available upon request. Additional information
