Located in a new facility at 698 Ahlers Drive, Printing
Services offers a complete range of graphic arts services
from design to mailing.
Services include, but are not limited to, business
cards, stationery, full-color presswork, brochures,
newsletters, posters, books, copyright clearance, on-demand
copying (both single and full color that can include
variable print), engineering-size copies, scanning
to file, and many varieties of finishing and mailing
services. Also included are promotional items, fulfillment,
and CD/DVD preparation. Printing Services features
an HP Indigo 5000 five color digital offset press to
facilitate high quality, economical short run full-color
orders as well as variable images and data for one-to-one
personalization.
The Printing Services’ Mail Center is equipped
to provide mailing list management services as well
as inserting, labeling, and metering of domestic and
international mail. It can also facilitate personalized
mailings. Our automated mailing services can help reduce
your postage costs.
Departmental requests for services are made on the
Printing Services’ Form 3 for all types of orders
or may be made online through the One Purdue Shopping
Carts. The business office in your department can provide
the forms, authorized signatures, and valid University
account numbers. Students can purchase course-required
printed material on a cash basis.
In addition to the main facility, there are five satellite
copy centers located in Civil Engineering Building
Room B-170, Beering Hall of Liberal Arts and Education
Room 1214; Lilly Hall of Life Sciences Room 1-1001;
BoilerCopyMaker on the main floor of the Purdue Memorial
Union; and BoilerMailRoom in Wiley Residence Hall,
which specializes in parcel and mail services.
The BoilerCopyMaker specializes in copy-related activities
for students, including printing and distribution of
custom course packets. Thesis copying and binding are
also offered. Retail services are available to all
through the BoilerCopyMaker. Students, faculty, and
staff may purchase numerous software packages. Cash,
credit card, and the Boiler-Express debit card are
accepted.
All copy for publications other than theses, office
forms, newsletters, and classroom materials must be
submitted to the director of publications. (See Executive
