Facilities and Services
Campus Services: Printing Services

Located in a new facility at 698 Ahlers Drive, Printing Services offers a complete range of graphic arts services from design to mailing.

Services include, but are not limited to, business cards, stationery, full-color presswork, brochures, newsletters, posters, books, copyright clearance, on-demand copying (both single and full color that can include variable print), engineering-size copies, scanning to file, and many varieties of finishing and mailing services. Also included are promotional items, fulfillment, and CD/DVD preparation. Printing Services features an HP Indigo 5000 five color digital offset press to facilitate high quality, economical short run full-color orders as well as variable images and data for one-to-one personalization.

The Printing Services’ Mail Center is equipped to provide mailing list management services as well as inserting, labeling, and metering of domestic and international mail. It can also facilitate personalized mailings. Our automated mailing services can help reduce your postage costs.
Departmental requests for services are made on the Printing Services’ Form 3 for all types of orders or may be made online through the One Purdue Shopping Carts. The business office in your department can provide the forms, authorized signatures, and valid University account numbers. Students can purchase course-required printed material on a cash basis.

In addition to the main facility, there are five satellite copy centers located in Civil Engineering Building Room B-170, Beering Hall of Liberal Arts and Education Room 1214; Lilly Hall of Life Sciences Room 1-1001; BoilerCopyMaker on the main floor of the Purdue Memorial Union; and BoilerMailRoom in Wiley Residence Hall, which specializes in parcel and mail services.

The BoilerCopyMaker specializes in copy-related activities for students, including printing and distribution of custom course packets. Thesis copying and binding are also offered. Retail services are available to all through the BoilerCopyMaker. Students, faculty, and staff may purchase numerous software packages. Cash, credit card, and the Boiler-Express debit card are accepted.

All copy for publications other than theses, office forms, newsletters, and classroom materials must be submitted to the director of publications. (See Executive Memorandum C-5.)
