Allied Organizations
Purdue Alumni Association

The Purdue Alumni Association, Inc., was chartered in 1912. Its purpose is to serve Purdue University and its alumni through the involvement of alumni in projects of an educational and charitable nature. Association members elect three of the trustees of Purdue University in accordance with the statutes of the state of Indiana.

In the records department, the association maintains addresses and information for all graduates and former students. More than 125 clubs in the United States and other countries hold regular meetings and sponsor local Purdue-related activities. Campus activities include Homecoming on a football weekend and Gala Week class reunions in April honoring the 50th anniversary class. Other services include international tours and special travel events; a career networking opportunity for alumni; a credit card program for alumni; merchandise bearing Purdue insignias; group life, accident, and medical insurance programs offered to members; and assistance to the University with student recruitment and legislative activities. Alumni programs of each school/college and of the regional campuses also are sponsored by the Alumni Association.

The Purdue Alumnus, the official publication of the association, is published six times each year.

Association offices are in the Dick and Sandy Dauch Alumni Center, 403W. Wood St.
