Purdue Family Day
Family Day, held each fall on the Saturday of a Purdue home football weekend, gives families the opportunity to visit with their sons and/or daughters and attend special family-centered activities. This year, Family Day will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014. This all-day event includes the Boiler Bridge Walk, a Pep Rally Session, Xtreme bowling and billiards, the Boilermaker BBQ, a Purdue-sponsored tailgate, Flicks at Fowler, and the football battle between Purdue and Central Michigan. There's even a Family Day Sunday Brunch for those parents staying the night.
More information about these activities, as well as R.S.V.P. links (for the BBQ) and parking information are available on the official Family Day website.
Exploratory Studies will hold its traditional light catered breakfast on Saturday morning from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. in the Purdue Memorial Union West Faculty Lounge. All current and former Exploratory Studies and Undergraduate Studies Program students and families are invited to attend. Please R.S.V.P. for the Family Day Reception by August 29, 2014.
Those attending who have received Purdue scholarships will be recognized at 10:15 a.m.
