Purdue is a large university and it can be difficult to figure out who to contact with questions.  We can help!  Please find below office phone numbers and targeted links to resources you can use to gather important information.  We understand that you will have different sorts of questions at each stage of your transition to Purdue, so look for your specific situation below:


Current Exploratory Studies Students

If you are a current Exploratory Studies student and would like to make an appointment with your academic advisor, please use our BoilerConnect online calendar or call (765) 494-0843.  The BoilerConnect calendar is new as of May 2017, so here's how to set up an advising appointment.  If you have questions about the registration process, please refer to our Advising & Registration page.  These appointments usually last about 30 minutes.  

Transfer Students

If you are a student who is currently attending another college or university outside of Purdue, please call (765) 494-0843 and our reception desk will forward you to the correct Exploratory Studies advisor to answer your questions.  Transfer admissions and credit transfer questions should be directed to Purdue's Office of Admissions at (765) 494-1776.  These appointments usually last 30 minutes to 1 hour. 

CODO-in Students

If you are a Purdue student who currently belongs to another college or school and you want to CODO into Exploratory Studies, please call (765) 494-0843 to set up a CODO-in appointment.  These appointments usually last 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Laying Tracks Students

If you are a current Exploratory Studies student who needs to complete the meeting portion of Laying Tracks, please use our BoilerConnect online calendar or call (765) 494-0843.  The BoilerConnect calendar is new as of May 2017, so here's how to set up an advising appointment.

Remember to complete your Academic Intervention Assessment Survey before your meeting.  Also, make sure to bring any completed Laying Tracks exercises that your advisor has requested to the meeting.  The appointment usually lasts about 1 hour.
