Student Organizations are a valuable part of the college experience. They offer opportunities for leadership development, community service, and provide great networking experiences.  Student organizations also allow students to be connected to something larger than oneself, which enhances the overall Purdue experience! Exploratory Studies offers some fantastic groups that YOU can be a member of:

Exploratory Studies Ambassadors

Exploratory Studies Ambassadors is a select group of students who are dedicated to the positive promotion of Exploratory Studies and Purdue University. The group is composed of current and former Exploratory students who wish to share their experiences with prospective Purdue students at recruiting and orientation events throughout the year.

Purdue Student Government Representatives

The PSG Representatives are three leadership positions for EXPL students. These three members serve as the direct link to PSG in order to increase campus-wide awareness of Exploratory Studies.

Exploratory Studies Social Media Committee

The Exploratory Studies Social Media Committee is a group of current and former Exploratory students who help create content for each of the Exploratory Studies social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Wordpress blog).

Peer Mentors

The Exploratory Peer Mentors are a select group of students who are dedicated to serving as positive role models and resources for first-year students in Exploratory Studies. The group is comprised of current and former Exploratory Studies students who wish to share their experiences of what it is like to be a beginning student without a major. They help support the student’s adjustment to Purdue University academically, socially, professionally, and personally. Exploratory Peer Mentors also have the opportunity to work closely with the academic advising staff, serving as an essential component to student success.
