Prior to coming to Purdue I lived in Ohio my entire life! I was born in Norwalk, grew up in Oak Harbor, and lived in Bowling Green and Oxford during college. I am excited to get away from “The Heart of It All” and spend some time in Indiana.

Advice for the Future Boilermaker
First and foremost, Boiler Up! Support this great school by attending sporting and campus events. Secondly, I encourage you to get involved in something…anything! Purdue has over 900 clubs and organizations, so select one! Can’t find one you like? Not a problem! Simply find two members and an advisor and create your own organization. Campus involvement helps you make friends, develop leadership skills, discover what it means to work as a team, and gain valuable experiences helpful in the future.
Trust me, as someone who switched majors three times I know how challenging it is to be undecided. But I promise you it will work out if you take the time to explore who you are and your passions by stepping outside your comfort zone. Purdue offers so many different majors and many careers do not require specific majors. Come to Purdue with an open mind and find the courses that challenge and interest you, they will lead to your best work!
Don’t be afraid to ask questions, especially from your professors and the amazing Exploratory Studies staff. Everyone is here to help and wants to see you succeed!
After seven years of schooling, this is my first job! Even through the continuous heartbreak and pain, I remain an avid Cleveland sports fan. I like watching most spots, especially hockey. I enjoy riding my bike, playing tennis, and swimming. I recently picked up disc golf, and recommend that everyone give it a try!
