State Fair Informational Meetings

If you are staffing a tent, volunteering or riding a bus,
please plan to attend one of these meetings. If you cannot
attend, please send a representative from your office. We
will have a lot of information and materials for you and
will be able to answer all of your questions.
Volunteers
We need 4 bus greeters, 12 volunteers to assist tent
row staff, and volunteers to staff an information area. Please
contact us if you would like to volunteer. Volunteer
spots will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
Admission Tickets
Each participating tent will receive 6 tickets. For
example: If your college has two tents reserved for Purdue
Day at the State Fair, that college will receive 12 tickets.
If a college has one tent, they will receive 6 tickets. If
you will not be using all of your tickets please let us know,
so we can give you the appropriate amount. If you need additional
tickets, or you do not have a participating tent, each unit
will be responsible for purchasing their own ticket/s.
Discount tickets can be purchased for $7. They are available at all Indiana Wal-Mart stores, CVS/pharmacy stores, Indiana Farm Bureau offices, the Marten House Hotel and the Indiana State Fairground Box Office. They will be available mid-July, 2008.
You may also purchase tickets at the State Fair Admission
Gate for $8, children 5 & under are free.
Bus schedule
You may pick
the time that you want to depart Purdue as well as the time that you want
to leave the State Fair. Bus departs Purdue from the Grant Street Parking Garage across from the Purdue Memorial Union. Bus leaves the State Fair across from gate 1A off of 38th street.
