Risk Management Employment Claims Initiative
Welcome to the Risk Management Employment Claims Initiative website.
The Risk Management Employment Claims Initiative is an education program which supports employees and supervisors in understanding employment related issues. This program consists of four training modules and corresponding certification quizzes covering topics such as:
- Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and other University leave policies
- Overtime rates
- Working hours
- Sexual violence
- Disability awareness and accommodations
Participation in this education program helps units meet the first of two criteria for the new insurance deductible reduction offered through Risk Management. The Risk Management Rates and Deductibles website explains the new insurance rates and deductibles in detail. The education program must be completed once every three years to obtain and maintain credit.
