The Department of Building Construction Management at Purdue University is seeking to fill a full-time 10-month clinical faculty position at the rank of assistant clinical professor.
Requirements: The successful candidate will develop, and teach undergraduate courses, instruct professional continuing education courses, and participate in construction related associations. The candidate must possess ability to teach within such core course areas as: estimating, scheduling, field supervision, project management, company management, blueprint reading, safety and loss control, risk management, contracts, and construction financial management.
Additional desired specialty areas of interest and/or professional experience sought in the candidates include, but are not limited to: electrical construction, mechanical construction, and building environmental systems.
Qualifications: In a clinical position, the candidate will be expected to have a primary assignment which focuses on instruction with a reduced expectation of performing applied research. The successful candidate must be able to develop and foster industry/government relationships within their chosen area of expertise. Successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Masters Degree in Construction, Engineering or related fields. Professional construction industry experience in a free market economy is required.

Requirements: The successful candidate will be expected to develop and teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in electronics, aircraft/aerospace electronics, and/or avionics systems; conduct externally-funded applied research, collaborate with other academic units at Purdue and externally, and engage with government and industry; serve on graduate committees; and perform customary faculty assignments and student mentoring.

Requirements: Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses specializing in computer programming and software development and pursuing funded research related to the application of CGT, CIT, and select signature areas of the College of Technology.
Qualifications: Ph.D. and expertise closely related to Computer Graphics or Computer and Information Technology is required. Industrial and/or teaching experience in programming relative to one or more of the following is highly desired: serious games, mobile devices, distributed computing, visualization, animation, immersive/adaptive environments or rendering. The ability to keep current with the needs of research laboratories; participate in academic conferences; publish in scholarly journals; develop and maintain a modern computer graphics teaching/research laboratory; work closely with the other units on the West Lafayette campus; seek external support to fund applied research projects; advise graduate students; and achieving strong, positive teaching evaluations will be required for promotion and tenure.

The Department of Industrial Technology offers undergraduate and graduate programs in Industrial Technology, Industrial Distribution, and Technology Education. The department’s main campus has over 300 students and 13 full-time faculty. The Department Head also oversees the program offering at eight other statewide locations and is the Director of the Weekend Masters Program. All programs have a technology focus, with the majority of courses providing hands-on laboratory experiences in state-of-the-art laboratories. The Industrial Technology and Industrial Distribution programs are accredited by the National Association of Industrial Technology (NAIT). The Technology Education degree program is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). The department is a national leader in biometrics technology, lean manufacturing, technology teacher preparation in pre-engineering education, industrial distribution management, and biotech manufacturing.
