The Economics Department at Purdue University is seeking two tenure track faculty members at the assistant level, with the positions beginning August 2012.
Requirements: One of the positions is in the macroeconomics, and Economists with research interests that complement teaching macroeconomics at all levels are encouraged to apply. For the second position, Economists with research interest in open economy macroeconomics or in microeconomic fields such as industrial organization, public economics, labor economics and organizational economics are encouraged to apply. A successful candidate will be expected to carry out research, supervise Ph.D. dissertation research, and teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels. The positions require a Ph.D. in economics or closely related field. A successful candidate should have evidence of potential research excellence and a commitment to teaching.
