Assistant Professor, Educational Measurement/Research Methods (002533-2011)
Requirements: The Department of Educational Studies at Purdue University invites applications for appointment to a 10-month tenure track position at the level of Assistant Professor in Educational Measurement and Research Methods. The successful candidate is expected to teach graduate courses in measurement and research methodology; maintain an active program of research and scholarship; pursue external funding to support research and training; advise and mentor graduate students; work collaboratively and provide consultation and service on educational measurement and evaluation to colleagues in the department and university.
Qualifications:
- An earned doctorate in the area of educational measurement
- Evidence of experience in educational applications of measurement such as (but not limited to) content area and classroom assessments, large-scale assessment and educational accountability systems, or the use of technology in assessment
- Knowledge of advanced statistical and research methods
- Evidence of scholarly productivity
