Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Human Development and Family Studies (002689-2012)
The Department of Human Development and Family Studies at Purdue University is recruiting a tenure track or tenured position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. HDFS is located in the newly formed college of Health and Human Sciences, affording opportunities to develop interdisciplinary collaborative research.
Qualifications: Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in human development and family studies or a related area. We seek applicants whose research and teaching is in the area of health and either developmental processes or family processes, or both, who will make a substantive contribution to the department of Human Development & Family Studies at Purdue. We are interested in multiple areas of health including childhood obesity, family violence, health disparities, sexuality, mental health, or prevention. Evidence of strong research and teaching is required.
Responsibilities: Teaching responsibilities will include both graduate and undergraduate courses and may include courses in either developmental or family studies.
