Assistant Professor of U.S. Political History (002685-2012)
The Department of History at Purdue University invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of U.S. History specializing in post-World War II political history.
Qualifications: A Ph.D. in History is required by the time of appointment. The successful candidate will have a strong and demonstrable research agenda and ability to develop undergraduate and graduate courses and participate in the graduate programs. Publications and teach experience are expected.
Applications: The initial review of applications will begin on November 19, 2012, and will continue until the position is filled. Preliminary interviews will be held at the annual meeting of the American Historical Association in New Orleans, January 3-5, 2013.
