Health and Human Sciences, Clinical Faculty Position (002819-2013)

The Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Purdue University in West Lafayette invites applications for a full-time, 12-month audiology Clinical Faculty position at Purdue University beginning July 2013. Unique opportunity to work in research-based clinical setting in a top-ranked audiology graduate program. In Fall 2014, the Department (clinics, research labs, offices, and classrooms) will become the principal occupant of a new Lyles-Porter Hall, shared with the Indiana School of Medicine-Lafayette, and clinics for Nursing, Psychology, Nutrition, Health, and Kinesiology.

REQUIREMENTS: Au.D. or Ph.D. required. Five years clinical experience and eligibility for ASHA CCC-A, Indiana Audiology licensure, Indiana early intervention certification (First Steps) required; supervision experience preferred. Areas of specialization are open. Primary responsibilities include providing clinical education/supervision to graduate students, direct clinical services to clients and their families, teaching courses related to clinical skills, and collaborating with research faculty. Clinical faculty share responsibilities for service and engagement.
